Today we’re making several unforgettable stops! You’ll depart your tour from Hervey Bay in the morning (or make your own way to the departure spot) and head out to the ferry area. From here we’ll be making a short ferry ride to K’gari (Fraser Island).

Relax on the white sand and enjoy a swim in the crystal clear water of Lake McKenzie. Spend some time on Fraser Island’s most famous beach! We’ll also stop at Pile Valley, a beautiful subtropical rainforest with very old Satinay trees and lush palms.

Central Station is the middle part of K’gari (Fraser Island). Once it was a central point for loggers and now it’s a food and drink stop for travellers exploring the island. Explore the Wanggoolba Creek boardwalk where you’ll be surrounded by ancient trees such as the Flooded Gums and King Ferns.

Did you know that K’gari (Fraser Island) has a highway? Well, it might not be an ordinary highway, but it has some incredible views of the ocean and kilomtres of sand. During our 4WD ride along Seventy Five Mile Beach, you might spot a dingo or two. And in the Aussie winter, the majestic humpback whales are in the area. Who knows you spot a whale too!

It doesn’t matter if you walk or float, you’ll be in awe of the beautiful windy river of Eli Creek. The clear water and towering trees will make you feel like you’re in paradise!

Maheno Shipwreck is by far the most iconic sight on K’gari (Fraser Island). Stretch the legs for a bit and go for a wander around the rusty shipwreck. Before we head back to Ticket Hut, we’ll drop by the Pinnacles Coloured Sands. Get to know more about these colourful dunes and the interesting Indigenous Dreamtime Stories. In the evening, it’s time to head back to River Heads.
