Will we visit the Maheno Shipwreck?

We will visit Maheno Shipwreck on both our 2-Day Fraser Island tours, but not on our 1 Day Fraser Island tour.

Do we stop at Lake McKenzie?

Yes, we will visit Lake McKenzie on both our 1 Day Fraser Island Tour and our 2 Day Fraser Island Tour.

How long do we get at Lake McKenzie?

We get around 40 minutes at Lake McKenzie during our Fraser Island Tours!

Can we swim at Lake McKenzie?

Yes! You’ll have the chance to hike, swim, and snap some photos of the incredible scenery before heading off to our next attraction.

Is it safe to go swimming at the beach?

Swimming in the ocean along the coast is not recommended, as there are many dangerous rip tides that cause problems even for the strongest swimmers. However, Fraser Island has many lakes you can enjoy instead!

What vehicle is used on the Fraser Island tours?

Our tours range from 21 or 24 seats 4WD bus. Please check each of our tour information pages or call us on 1300 661 225 to find out which one for each tour.

Where is the National Park room accommodation?

The accommodation for the National Park room accommodation is at the National Park Cabins. There are six cabins, each of which has a double bed and single bunk bed in one bedroom, with a double bunk bed in the other bedroom, in total sleeping up to five people. Each has a bathroom and a small kitchenette.

How many people can fit in a tent?

There are two people per tent, however, if you would like your own tent, you can request this at the time of the booking.

Can we bring our own camping gear?

Camping accommodation and equipment is provided to you on our tours, so you are not required to bring your own gear. However, if you would like to, you are able to bring your own tent.

Can we hire a sleeping bag and a pillow?

Sleeping bags and pillows are included in the price of the camping tour, so there is no need to bring them along with you.

What is the policy for cancellations or refunds?

Cancellation or change of date outside of 7 days of departure will result in a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellation or change of date within 7 days of departure will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Failure to board, change of date or cancellation within 48 hours of departure will result in full fare forfeiture.
