Tour

Get a hearty dose of adventure on this day long 4WD tour of Fraser Island. Throughout the day, you’ll experience the stunning landscapes of the island and get to know the world’s largest sandbank. Stretching over 120 kms and offering sweeping views of the coast, Fraser Island is home to ancient rainforest, pristine beaches, and iconic Aussie wildlife like Dingoes and Humpback Whales.

We’ll start the day from Rainbow Beach, heading towards Fraser Island through the Toolara State Forest. We’ll make a quick stop in Rainbow Beach centre before heading over to Fraser Island via the barge at Inskip Point.

Once we’ve arrived at Fraser Island, we’ll travel along the rugged coastal road of Seventy-Five Mile Beach. If you’re lucky, we may even get the chance to spot some wild dingoes on the way! Enjoy morning tea before exploring the lush expanse of rainforest and iconic wildlife that sprawls out towards the centre of this renowned island.

Then it’s onwards to the perched lake of Lake McKenzie, where we’ll stop to admire the clear blue water, white sand and surrounding rainforest that sprawl inland. Here we’ll set up to have an authentic Aussie lunch to get energy up for the adventure ahead, while enjoying the stunning surrounding scenery. Take a dip in the crystal clear waters or laze on the snow-white sand and take in the impressive surroundings.

After we’ve refuelled, we’ll travel along ‘sandy highway’ to take you along the lush rainforest of Satinay and Brushbox for a guided rainforest walk. Your friendly guide will accompany you and share their local expertise of the ancient rainforest, plants and wildlife that makes this region so unique and fascinating to explore. Relax on our purpose built “Warrior” 4WD vehicles as you soak in the stunning white sandy beaches and breathtaking scenery of the World’s Largest Island one last time!
