Noosa is a beautiful tropical town located on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, approximately two hours north of Brisbane.

There is so much to see and do in Noosa, we recommend spending three days here to ensure you see all the amazing things it has to offer. We have created a detailed three-day itinerary that will have you exploring the rainforest, dining on the beach, and 4-wheel driving on the largest sand island in the world.

Noosa, Sunshine Coast

  • Day 1

When arriving in Noosa, spend the morning settling in and organising yourself for your adventure. Head down to the main street of Noosa, the beautiful Hasting street. Along here you will find an abundance of boutique and gift shops, café’s, restaurants, and some delicious ice cream stores. Make your way down to Noosa Main Beach to check out the gorgeous tropical scenery and relax in the sun, maybe even jump in the water for a swim if it is hot enough. The afternoon is the perfect time to conquer the Noosa National Park walking track. The 5.4-kilometre return track will take you through the forest, with unbelievable views in every direction.

Be sure to stop by the Fairy Pools, where natural rock formations have been carved out to create caves and swimming pools inside the ocean. For dinner, head down to the Noosa River and dine at one of the many delicious restaurants in the area.

  • Day 2

Today you will discover one of only two everglades in the entire world! The Noosa everglades are located around 30 minutes from town, and are a paradise waiting to be explored. Your time at the Everglades will wrap up at around 4pm, and you have the rest of the afternoon and evening to make the most of Noosa.

For those sunset lovers out there, you must head down to the iconic location where the river mouth and the ocean meet, the sunset views here are to die for, and you will certainly be left feeling in awe of nature after this!

  • Day 3

On your final day in Noosa, head out of town and explore some of the charming rural towns that occupy the region. Other notable towns to visit while exploring the area are, Caloundra, Coolum, Mooloolaba, Glass House Mountains and so much more!
